Chairman´s Statement

Founded in 1977, Golik began as a small producer of welded mesh used in the construction industry. Through clear and progressive business strategies and a persevering spirit of enterprise backed by strong customer focus and professionalism, we have today emerged as a conglomerate with two core business arms in value-added steel processing and building construction materials. Our business has also expanded cross-border from Hong Kong into Mainland China significantly strengthening our business mix and quality, with some of our products and services accredited as market leaders in the industry and region.

In 1997, Golik successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange giving us further momentum for growth. Additional growth is spurred on by the enlisting of management talent and greater astute in our business administration.

Though the Group´s development over the years has not always been easy having weathered many storms one after another, but each time we have emerged stronger through the solidarity founded in our people, our partners and our industry peers.

Guided by prudence and enterprise in our endeavor for sustainable growth and pursuit of industry and regional market leaderships, our philosophy and mission is to be people-oriented, value talent and uphold social responsibility. And through our philosophy, I believe it will steer Golik Group towards greater growth in the future.
